My focus is on user experience research, though I also enjoy interaction design and quantitative data analysis. I am currently working as a research assistant for Professors Mark Newman and Paul Resnick on a social computing for health project funded by Intel Digital Health. The past two summers, I worked as a User Experience Research intern at TechSmith. Previously, I interned at 4 other major companies in various software development and user experience roles. Last spring, I worked with a team that won first place in the 2009 CHI Student Design Competition. I've also done quite a bit of work for CouchSurfing, including writing an academic paper about their trust network that I presented at the IEEE Social Computing 2009 conference. I graduate this December 2009 and am currently looking for full-time employment. You should keep reading below for details about my projects, or click here to view my resume.
